All has been kind of quiet on the blog home-front lately. I had a chance to stamp and finish a card to share with you today.
I'm using the Make A Home set from Simon Says Stamp to create a die-cut scene.
For the background I debossed a stitched square on a panel and masked it off to sponge the clouds and grass with Distress Inks. Enlarge the photo to see these details.
The house, roof and door were colored with Copics. I chose colors inspired by this photo from the Just Us Girls Challenge. The window in the photo caught my eye too, and I really like the warm homey fell it conveys.
I really *love* this sentiment and the cute birds that come with the set. On the inside I'll stamp "Sending love and hugs" to you in your new home. It's going to someone special today. I'm off to hand deliver it to my daughter in her new apartment! Can't wait!
Thanks to you for stopping in to visit today.
