I've been thinking about all sorts of things. That shouldn't surprise you, right?!
I've been back from convention for four days and there is SO MUCH that I am excited to share about! Things I've learned, card ideas and tips, lining up my classes both local and online....Then there's the Holiday Catalog and all the good things coming my way soon!
I feel bursting to blog and create but.i.can't.until.August.
One of the classes that really got me thinking at convention was presented by Bonnie Thurber. She is a great teacher, storyteller and comedienne. I'm not kidding, she had us falling off our seats we laughed so hard.
You might wonder what great fun topic she had to discuss with us? It was basically the message of keeping going. She talked about 4 cycles in our business and in other areas of life; the honeymoon stage, the let down stage, cocooning, and excitement to start again stage.
Just picture me in the cocooning stage. Nestling. Comfortable. and looking ahead to all the good opportunities we can share. Me and you and Stampin' Up!
I have been a demonstrator for almost ten years. I still get excited when a new catalog comes out. I squeal when the box arrives! And it seems I never run out of ideas for something to make. I love our products and this craft makes me happy!
At convention we made a clean and simple card with a very fun technique taught by Lydia Fiedler. Isn't this cute?
It's very simple. Add a diagonal stripe with Sticky Strip. Next add on your sequins, then fill in the rest with gold glitter. I love the WOW!
Thanks for visiting with me today. Even with my blog break, I have a few posts ready to go for you.
Find delight in your craft.
